Fundraising Dinner

On Saturday 28th October, we will have a Fundraising Dinner at the Club with all the glamour and elegance we can muster. We ask you to support the Club in this venture to secure the future of the Club’s infrastructure.

This special event will run in much the same way that the Ball was intended to.

Members and guests will enjoy a glass of our best Champagne and some very special canapes on arrival. Supper will be served between the Dining Room and Garden Room at 7.00pm.

What now?

The costs of running the event at the Marcliffe are much higher than doing so in-house, so we need to settle the balance with you. For those Members who have already paid for their tickets to the Marcliffe event, we have the following options:

  1. Attach the difference in price (£20.00 pp) to your Club Credit (to be spent on goods and services, or to be offset against your 2024 subscription payment, due on 1st January 2024)

  2. Put it towards buying the wine for your table at the Fundraising Dinner

  3. Take a refund for the difference in price, which the Club will pay out by BACS or cheque

  4. Donate the difference in price to the Club’s 2024 fundraising pot

  5. Cancel your attendance and take a full refund, no questions asked

If you are yet to pay for your tickets to the RNUC Ball, we will simply reassign your booking to the new event.

~~~
Again, I offer our apologies for this change of plan. However, we are undaunted, and are determined to make this an evening to remember, and one which will be of invaluable help to the Club’s funds.
