Following a couple of successful lunchtime Speakers’ Events, I am delighted to announce that the next Speaker’s Lunch will take place on Thursday 15th June.

This month, our guest speaker is Club Member, Mr Vic Baxter, who will give a highly entertaining (and exceedingly well reviewed, I hear from independent sources!) presentation recounting humorous happenings ‘from boots to boardroom’ from his long and varied career. His presentation is entitled Ticklish Tales from non-Tourist Destinations.

Mr Baxter’s presentation promises to be witty and exceedingly engaging – a privileged insight into some of his weird and wonderful experiences working in fascinating corners of the globe in engineering, and a real treat for his audience!

The event is open to Members and guests. We invite you to the Club for 12.00 noon. A lighter, two-course lunch will be served at 12.30pm (details to be confirmed, with all dietary needs catered to), and the presentation will follow.
