Dear Member,
With great pleasure, I invite you to attend a good old-fashioned Supper and Musical Evening at the Club as we celebrate that most patriotic of occasions – St Andrew’s Night!
This year, we have lined up two fantastic local musicians who will play a rousing, heart-stirring recital after supper. They are Irene Watt and Graham White, better known as The Twa Folk.
Irene is a northeast-based professional harpist, clarsach player, singer, choral director, and philanthropist with decades of experience of performing, running local musical groups, and being in hot demand on the local event circuit! Her partner in music is Graham, a talented Scots singer and dexterous multi-instrumentalist. He and Irene perform all over Scotland, and have released their own album. Together, they will put on a performance of traditional Scottish song and music incorporating the clarsach, bazouki, and harmonica.
Join us at 6.00 for 6.30pm on Thursday 30th November for a few drams (or bubbly, if you prefer!) before we tuck into a hale and hearty traditional St Andrew’s Night feast. Then, sit back and enjoy some of your favourite Scots tunes performed by Irene and Graham.
The following menu is offered, with alternatives for those who require a vegetarian meal or who prefer to avoid red meat.
